Whether you have a cat or a dog it is likely at some time of your pets life that they are going to become ill and the earlier the problem is spotted the better it will be for your pet. We have complied a basic guide to keep your pet healthy.

In March 2007 the new Animal Welfare Act came into force. It states that anyone who is responsible for a pet has a legal responsibility to meet the five basic welfare needs of pets. These are as follows:
a proper diet, including fresh water adequate place to live any need to be housed with or apart from, other animals allowing animals to express normal behaviour protect from and treatment of, illness and injury
